Jennifer Karlan '17
Jennifer Karlan is a 2017 graduate of Sinai Akiba Academy and an unapologetic advocate of the Jewish homeland. Inspired by her passion for the accordion and her admiration of the Hebrew language, Jennifer
has been imbued with a love of Israel from the day she entered Sinai Akiba in Kindergarten. She is currently a senior at Palisades Charter High School, where she joined the national Zionist youth group, Club Z, and has since risen to the position of teen fellow. Over the last several years, Jennifer has given speeches protesting various antisemitic actions on college campuses. She has also appeared on Israel and antisemitism related panels and has created vlogs on social media debunking common myths related to the Jewish state, anti-Zionism, and antisemitism. Jennifer will be taking a gap year and then matriculating to Harvard University.

About Sinai Akiba Academy
Sinai Akiba Academy is a private Jewish day school in Los Angeles, serving students in Early Childhood through Grade 8. We also offer a variety of parenting classes and programs for children through our Parenting Center. A Sinai Temple school.
